I cant wate for the shed to be put up . Its being made out of 20mm log lap with a double glazed windo so it should look nice . But it is going to be a bloody big thing. so i'll have to think of some way to sofen it up a biy . Maybe put some of thet bamboo fencing at the side . Did you like the snake i cut out of marble for the ramp.

I know this might sound daft mate....but... water it , if you drench it , it will go off faster..........sounds Irish I know........but it works That is irish mate you "mist" curing concrete if its drying to fast and damaging itself like crumbling or cracking,If you get curing comcrete to wet it'll weaken the surface. But maybe you have different water in hull any proffessional builders in the house? lol if your worried about the cold id protect it with hessian sacking, straw or polystyrene to insulate it over night

Nope seriously it does work..... just had a whole shed load of concrete laid at work, and this is on a hgv yard... abused by 44 tonne tankers 24/7
they laid that in the rain, it was chucking it down, all they did was tamp it down, it is now the only bit in the yard wot aint cracked.....all the rest got laid in the middle of summer
asked the geezer and he agreed, wetting the crete stops it cracking, makes it go off faster, and makes it tuff
concrete must have been invented by the irish... i have never heard of out so daft.

I stand corrected then, always thought there was a fine balance between enough mist water to stop it cracking and to much to damage it long term ,
ill readvise my building knowledge lol

If it was hot i would agree at the water will be worm and stop it shrinking. But if its freezing the water will freeze and crack the surface as there is still water in it not gon of yet . It may work in the summer but i dont think so when its freezing . I was told be the shed bloke and the concerrt bloke to cover it and try to keep it dry at night if it was going to freez .

well i'm only going by wot this bloke said to me.... this is about 2 feet thick this concrete well it has to be for 44 ton tankers on it, else it would just turn to powder after a week or so.

but there are quite a few with alcohol in them..... not bells or bacardi but industrial methylated spirits.
