That cylinder head looked minging! The crank didn't look much better either!
I've always liked TDR's byt never ridden one.
Looks like you've made a really good job, any pics of before and after for the engine, shock etc??
Ian.

Brilliant Andy, cracking job, even more so considering what you were up against.I've always had a massive soft spot for TDRs.Very special bikes.

it had been standing outside un-used & un-loved for 10 years :-( it was 10 times worse than i first thought . everything seized solid , inc crank , brakes , suspension link , cables ,locks , .. i just had the tdr bug and wanted another , i had collected many spares whilst doing the other 2 so it softened the blow slightly on cost , but a monster amount of work . really chuffed with the almost finished bike tho , still got some bits to re-do like some nuts n bolts that i found or re-used during the build look a bit shite now so ill replace bits n bobs over next few months . its taken a bit of a back seat over the last 5-6 weeks since getting the 250lc . .looking forward to building the lc now . but my prob is lack of space & funds :-( so the lc may take me a while as i dont want to sell the tdr & work has been a bit slack after crimbo n all that .
