just got this to day rd 250 w reg , dont know where to start as olny had lc be for any one who lives round peterborough way could do with sum help as never worked on this shape rd , Attachments:

Nice mate . Its all there and a runner i asoom . are you gowing to do a compleat strip podercat and rebuild on it or just tart it up a bit for a riding about as is .

its not running at mo but dont think take much get it running .dont know what to do with it rebuild or leave it as it is . am not sure what bits are right on it or wrong at mo .

Looks all there to me. Thats an E/F you got there (pointless ignition) same as the lc. The engine is remarkably similar to the LC's and easy to work on, but you will have 28mm carbs on this bike. I have the 250e also, they wind up very well.

looks very nice to me . Id leave it standard unless you have a lot of experience with building bikes . because all you have to do is clean up and put back were it came from if you keep it standard

no points on it so, i have a spark engine turns over ok just going clean carbs get sum petral in tank and hope she goes . just rebuilt a rd 250 lc and half way on a rd 125 lc . so have my hands full on so dont think i do much with this one .

Make sure the oil pump is stroking at idle speed. The outside bits can wear quite a bit reducing the stroke to zero, or less !

thanks for the help and advice i have desided to sell the bike now think its going to need more work than i thought .so its gone on ebay
