Hello guys and girls need some help or advice I've got a problem getting the Allen bolts out of the bottom of my rd 50m forks they are not the usual type as the springs are on the outside like the fizzers tried a windy gun and also put dowel down the inside but still no joy I've heard there's a special tool motorcycle mechanics have for such a problem never had this problem before as usally windy gun does the trick has anyone got any ideas on what to do would be greatly appreciated

Had the same problem with a set of rgv forks.
Took them to local dealer, £5 later they were out.

if your talking about the oil drain bolt on the damper rod . then compress the forks as far as they will go this locks the damper rods and they dont turn then an air gin with allon key on turns so fast they dont have time to spinn .
Never done any 50 forks but this is how i do lc ones

thats the kiddy norbo have tried windy gun/air gun with fork compressed didnt work doh doh doh cheers anyway

When you compres the fork it puts presher on the sping making it tight and the air gun spins the bolt so fast the damper doesnt have time to spinn. i have done this loads oof times and its never fakled to do that bolt . you need to compress the fork as far as you can its a 2 person job .

thanks for the advice again norbo got my next door neighbour to give me a hand and it worked this time like you say it spins that fast it cant catch up got a long list i need to order off you but mrs hasnt given me my pocket money this month caus ive been a bad lad when i get some dollars ill pm you and thanks again
