Might sound like a daft question but I have a repro, sticker for the fuel tank and I really don't know weather to put it on or not. Fitted originally but were they meant to stay on for ever ? Just wanted to know what you all think.

Mine has the same original sticker still on it but I don't think they were designed as a permanent thing just a Yamaha information label covering them selves against us teenage delinquents buying them

I have been told that the sticker was not factory fitted but was done by the dealer when it was PDI'ed.

Surely it would still have come with the bike in the crate/documents etc?? Obviously the sticker came from Yamaha but was issued to the dealers to adhere after the bike was removed from the crate but before the new owner took delivery. OEB

That its your bike so if you want a sticker on the tank then have one and enjoy it. But if you ask the opinions of others then expect them to reply. I think the fuel sticker is for numptys.

I originally asked the question 'cos I thought it was part of an original bike. Specials, original, anything goes. I'm not using it anyway (as I said on the 15th), but either way it don't really matter I 'spose.
