helo mike, this bike has been for sale for months and months, vastly over priced in my opinion. Says on advert it is a 1984, b reg so quite straight forward there. It has a steering lock on ignition so is a uk bike.

Thanks guys. I thought that it was way over the top but was going to ring them and see what they would let it go for as it has been up for sale since at least August last year. I've got an NSR MC21 (keeper) and wanted another but the sensible part of my brain (and wallett) says go for a YPVS which would be used more often. I had a new 350 LC MANY years ago. The link that you supplied is not alowing me access. Any reason for this?
Mike

Thanks again. I've sent him a mail asking for his best price so it will be interesting to see if he actualy comes back to me. I can get a NSR Pentax MC21SP in superb nick for the YPVS price...but I haven't got that much so it's not really relevant. What is the best way to put pictures up on this forum? Noodle, my NSR, is just about to have the oil seals changed and a new set of rings. I ordered the parts yesterday. I've got the fairings off so far. Apparently they are pretty good to work on. Mike

Okay....what shall we talk about??? ;D Mike Easy to get to 25, post a few jokes in the jokes section and compliment a few rebuilds or finished bikes. You will find a decent bike for a lot less, sold my YPVS N2/RGV hybrid a few months ago for £2k Steve Steve

I know of the owner of the bike shop as i purchased a fireblade from him and he bought my mate gsxr1000 from him.The bike will be straight and clean. As he buys all the old classics and has some great bikes. He wont budge on price as has attitude if you dont buy it someone else will.

It certainly looks in tip top nick but I think that £5k is just asking too much. Lucky for him that he can afford to just sit on it ('scuse the pun!!) Mike Have I reached 25 yet

got to ten, have a look underneath pic of your bike and it tells you how many posts you have got to. If some one gives you some good advice click underneath where it says exalt underneath there name, you have then biven them some karma. and they can do same to you if you give someone some good advice

Lovely NSR . It looked a bit like a modelbike for a moment with al the fading around the bike . The LC2 YPVS is a minter and i bet you would be hard pushed fined better it looks like a real nice bike . But its way way over priced . he will sit on that bike for a long time befor he will get that no matter how nice it is . Ive seen minters go for around the £2,500 3,000 grand mark
its a good 2K over priced in my book .

Problem is that there is SOoo much going n in my garage that I just tried to blur out some of the surroundings. Had a bit of a scare tonight though...I stripped the top end and when I removed the carbs I found this.... ...looks like I'm gonna have to take the crank out and check it over. It had a new crank in 2004 apparently (I got the reciept for this and loads of other stuff when I bought the bike) but I'm told that the bike was used for just a few miles and then stood for a couple of years. Might have been caused by moisture in the crankcase? Oh well, busy weekend for me now. Mike
