I put mine in the triangle beneath the coil, just P-Clipped in place. I've seen them cable - tied on as well. A nice alloy bracket would be a far more astetically pleasing solution!

Hi mate, just made up x2 simple brackets for mine and used the coil cover mounts. Hope this helps or gives you a starting point for your own mounting bracket. Paul.

Clean install. How are the Cable runs? IF you used longer OEM style screws, could you not fit the plastic headstock cover back on?

Hi bare, cable runs are nice and flowing with no sharp bents etc. Standard YPVS cables fitted, but close to maximum available adjustment used !. Used a LC2 cutch cable on my build which is at maximum adjustment too. Been looking on the Venhil cables site, so next job is shortening the inner cables slightly, but going to leave it till the end of summer, just want to ride the thing - done 150 miles on Sunday, - had some 996 rider thinking he could pass me on a fast twisting road - he pulled up behind me at the lights 10 miles down the road, flipped his lid up and smiled and gave the thumbs up !. Would fit one if i had one, but not paying the prices that people want for them, will get one some time down the road. If you want photos of the cable run, just let me know. Paul.
