So i find myself with a very poorly looking basket , u can clearly see where each plate has slowly worn away the fingers and i just wondered what options i have.... Obviously theres second hand off evilbay, which could be as bad (my trust in ebayers has dropped the last few months...) i've also seen the replacement basket kits on yambits (anyone know the quality ? ) which would be ok cos i can access a pillar drill etc to get the old rivets out... Just really looking for other options / opinions, will be a couple of months before i can afford anything but just wanted to get my research done now

I bought a new one from Granby Yamaha £297 (don't tell the misses). Its for the YPVS but same part I was told. The issue with lash numbers is not an issue (I was told by Yamaha) when buying new parts. I also have a spare (secondhand) one, which you can have for the price of the post only (it's prob. the same as yours, but may be better, who know's). Pm me if you want it. They were swaped about years ago without a worry about the lash numbers.....
