Hi, just a reminder for everyone out there to check their oil pump stroke before the new season. I recently recieved this pic. from a club member, which clearly shows how much the pump can wear on the external surfaces (screw in this case). This is an extreme example but there is never zero wear in this area. This amount of wear can easily reduce the stroke on a previously adjusted pump to zero, drastically reducing oil to the motor through most of the rev range. That's exactly what had happened to mine and the gap had closed.
Advice taken from your earlier posts and I'm now good to go. I just need the motor back and the pipes to arrive then it's WAHEY! ;D Get it back on the road.
