Hi Folks I bought a set of these overlays not so long ago thinking I'll wait until the bike's tucked up for winter then have a go at putting them on. Just read through the instructions and it looks like the sort of job that could go horribly wrong. Has anyone had a go at this? Removing the needles seems a hazard. Also, will the clocks mist up etc?
They cost me £23 for what is essentially converting my tacho light pink zone back to red.

its quite easy to do but you must be patient and take your time gently prize up the metal flange (with a small screwdriver) that holds the glass in you have to go nearly all the way around the needles just pull off very carefullly though as these are probably brittle be sure just to pull on the centre part undo the 2 screws that hold the face to the body and replace with your new dial face re-assemble and just crimp the metal flange back gently with pliers
