As have i,twice! once on YZF 750 and a bad one on R1. Bruised both knees where they hit the tank as it was slapping. dont forget to pump the brakes after as the pads move out from the disc i now have an ohlins damper ;D

I've got real tank slappers a few times on the 350, scary as hell. When it happens, I usually just relax, trying not to put more weight on the front or interrupting the bike (handlebars particularly), and then hope the bike sort itself out. Now I got an el cheapo steering damper on it and it helps a-whole-bloody-lot, I havn't experienced any shaking since I put it on.
