hi everyone please could someone advise me on how to set up a ypvs on a rd350 LC ypvs L reg since i rebuilt the engine replacing all the power valve & seals etc it throws the power band in at 8500 rpm lifting the front wheel off the floor which i suppose is OK if i was a boy racer lol ! my bike is one of my rd collection and as it is cared for dearly i dont want it that aggressive so as i have no manual for this please would someone tell me how to adjust it so i can bring it it around 5500rpm many thanks craig

Take off the LEFT hand ypvs cap. You will see a lug with a V shape in it at the top. Turn on the ignition. The valve will cycle. Leave ignition on. Behind the lug should be a small hole. Get a 4mm drill bit and put through V in lug. If adjusted the drill will go onto a small hole in the barrel. If not slacken one cable and tighten the other until the lug V lines up with the hole in barrel. When they line up and the drill bit goes straight through V into hole in barrel leave bit in then remove ALL slack from cables then slacken by 1/4 of a turn then do up lock nuts. Job done
