Are you going to use the shock for a 125? If so, I want to let you know that 350 LC shocks are a bt shorter then 125 shocks and I think it's a tad too wide for the swingarm mount aswell.
I've taken a 350 shock apart and it was easy peasy compared to the 125 shocks I've tried it on. I didn't have to use a spring compressor at all, I just turned the spring adjuster to the sloppiest setting and then I could fiddle the retainer circlips out with very little effort, almost by hand if memory serves me right. I don't know if my 350 shock spring was in tip top condition or not though.

you'll need to compress the spring to remove the two "c" type half washers at the top of the spring, i took mine to my local motorcycle shop he compressed it for me charged £1.50 i recall +1

I realise now though, considering the neat standard of your build so far, it was damn foolish of me thinking you'd put that rusty ol swinger on permanently with no fresh powdercoat on it.
