Now there's a topic for discussion Norbo ;D Have you felt the weight of a F2 fairing, even a fibreglass one? I can't honestly say I noticed any disadvantage in not having a fairing on the LC, perhaps at the old Snetterton Rivet Straight it might have made a slight difference, but I'm not convinced. Certainly I seemed to have the pace of the two other Powervalves in front of me but unfortunatly not the talent. So after a bit of pondering, next seasons powervalve is going to be naked, I think the fairing just gets in the way, what I will do is lower the seat height to get a better crouch out of the breeze and get somebody younger with more talent to ride it

my project has took a twist as i've stubbled across a complete f2 rolling chassis. its in good condition with very good tank and seat. cant believe my luck !!!. so now i,ve got the f2 forks and brakes you recomended higgsy. as for fairings mmm, i guess a naked has less to damage
