YPM Powervalves don't need a massive amount of changes to the basic bike, but unfortunatly are a time and money pit!, have a read through Spencers 'how to' narrative on the YPM site for a guide.
Drop me a PM mate if you have any questions

me ole mate jerry pell built my engine back in 88, that took me to many wins so he'll be getting a knock on his door in the new year. the crmc and ypm rules are pretty much the same so i,ve already gathered some info on what i should be looking out for. i,m now twice the age i was then so just out for some fun !!

welcome mate . I love to do race bikes a hell of a lot less work then a road bike . stripping down rarther then putting on . what club are you gowing to race with. do you have the rools for that bikeclass. You dont whant to be putting expanshon pipes on if you have to run with stock pipes or something like that .

hiya, yamaha past masters run through bemsee and the classic racing motorcycle club both run a class for powervalves. they do have slightly different rule but both allow expansion pipes. you can find their rules on their sites.
