Presumably they have a similar software as an iPad, which is connected to a PC & synced with iTunes I'm sure Google will have the answer. OEB

got an archos 101 ,minimal chance of android viruses, you can get a norton tablet antivirus software for about £15 from pc world. there is only one known virus at the minute, adds pop up in free apps (to be expected) and this particular one says it can improve your speed and battery life. it does exactly the opposite, it hacks straight into everything and not only do they have control over your apps and personal data they are using prosessing power so it just feels slower!!! go for something with the latest version of android (2.3 gingerbread) but 2.2 froyo is still great. (less bugs, risk of viruses, chance of freezing etc) tech specs can be misleading. the archos has 1gb of ram but when you look into it further archos have limited it to 800mb to save battery. always check out multiple reviews and comparions. the archos is great and cost 150quid from carphone warehouse. but if you want to back it up just connect it to your pc as instructed, either via tethering or just usb mass storage and copy and paste everything onto your computer. one warning..... if you want to connect it to a windows pc or a mac thats fine it compatible with either. but if you plug it into one and then the other it will re format itself thus emptying all your files. my son found that out the hard way!!!

Just got an Ipad 2.......Nice bit of kit.......Everything to back it up is in Itunes on Pc......Would imagine it would be easy enough to back up an android as kennyroberts says.
