Silly as it sounds: If you don't lock it with a key then you won't need a key to unlock it :-) I had one tank that was fitted with an old Mini fuel cap, the chrome one as found on late 60's minis. Fits perfectly.

OK.. what's an FS1E ? Is it the old Yama 80 ? I have no idea as I haven't even seen one of those around here in over 30 years.

ok, I thought it might be a std cap without a lock - dont want a shiny one.
looks like I'll just have to remove the locking bit (dont want lots of keys)

looks like I'll just have to remove the locking bit (dont want lots of keys) So why dont you have the cap suited to match your ignition? Contact SIMON5 on the RD/RZ FORUM OEB

Oops ..It's 50 cc ? and some had pedals? Never any over here, at least that I heard of, or saw. I had a new 'demo' Yamaha 80 over a weekend in '67 :-). Good luck getting a dealer to loan a demo for a weekend these days. It was different.. then. Decided not to buy it as it was just too underpowered, despite the inexpensive pricing .
