hi guys , im just doing a top end rebuild on my 250 lc and all is good apart from i have been sent the wrong little ends, the ones that came out would it be wise to reuse them , everything else is new pistons gudgen pins etc. the ones that came out look perfect , what you all think as i dont want to have to wait a week till i get the new ones as the wifes going ape as its in the kitchen on hold. let me know ur thoughts . cheers Dave

IMHO I would fit new ones also I would get some OEM circlips & bin the others if they are not genuine, new Yamaha ones.

Order new ones for what they cost.
Try calling norbo, if he has them in stock he can post them straight out.

the external mesurment is to small altough the fit round the pin is good. i reckon about 1 mm slop in the rod,,, mmmmmmmmmmmm not good , i guess if doing this for the first time it might have gone unoticed by somone, just shows that double checking all parts even when coming from a good source need to be double checked although on start up it would have been very apparent albeit i wouldnt think for very long .

PJME supplied me (by mistake) with exactly the same wrong little ends a while back. The ID is correct but the OD is 1mm undersize. I can't remember what they are the correct bearing for...but not Yamaha.
