I have tried to buy a boost bottle for my LC2 on ebay but keep getting outbid and am not paying £55 for a new one from yambits so I wondered about the Banshee boost bottles you find on ebay in america. Can you use these bottles without any problems?

you are about to open a can o'worms bud ;D - lol
Some say Boost bottles are only masking a problem which really needs to be solved properly... however, as far as I know Norbo does them

As above, unless you're just after the bling factor I wouldn't bother. My hybrid gained several bhp on the dyno when the 'boost' bottle was removed!

I remember having a conversation with Stan many years ago when he had the small shop in Kingsdown, we were talking about aftermarket products and did they work, he laughed, waved his hand at the stuff on the wall behind him and said 'you can take a good twenty mph off the top end of a decent valve if you fit all this shit' still makes me laugh now :-)

Well, I bought a bike off the guy who makes and sells them!! Bike runs great and he's a nice guy. Don't know if it makes any gains on power though.

As I understand from all the other forums I've found you don't get any more power but it tidies up the running at low revs/loading. Have bought one from the US so we'll have to wait and see.

Just bought a billet pro-design induction kit with boost bottle from the U.S.......Needed new inlet rubbers anyhow, hopefully to smooth out low revs running as bikes a bitch in town....Will be getting dynod in the new year so will be interesting to see if there's any benefits/negatives on the engine......and aye for me its a bling thing too.
