all the tollerances on the crank, get a feeler guage in there, and any signs of wear on all gears.
also on the crank cases there is a lug that sits in the half round of the case side, make sure these are not too shoart and starting to eat into the case see the following vid on youtube
YFZ BANSHEE 350 YPVS ENGINE STRIP DOWN PART 3, and check the rest in the series also, interesting stuff, good luck , im doing an f2 myself

Check the kick start idler gear for wear, seen loads of worn ones. Also check the clutch basket for play on it's bush-not seen ant problems there personally. Check the gearchange fingers for wear/blueing due to over heating, check the general wear on each gear on the shaft. Check the gear shaft bearings. If your cranks an unknown quantity, buy a new one. Replace the crank seals and poss the output/sprocket seal-any other seal can be replaced in situ. Fit new E clips to the gearchange shafts-they're cheap. Use Three bond case sealer or similar. Make sure the half rings are fitted when you seal the cases-one on each gear cluster and one on the crank-make sure the roll pins on the main crank bearings are seated correctly before you bolt the cases together. Hope this helps....should all be in the Haynes manual, but having built a few engines, and mine this week, that should help!!
