Currently out of action after knee surgery and left with nothing to do but look for parts and plan the restoration, F2 YPVS.
Bike came with locks and a key but in no way were they related. So after getting hold of a working ignition thought I would do without locks. So plan to get one of the non-locking petrol caps off ebay. (Same price as replacement petrol cap and don't want a bike with lots of keys.)
This leaves me with problem of seat locks. I drilled mine out in a moment of madness on day 1 of restoration.
So does anyone think or know if it would be possible to adapt a left hand, non locking seat catch to fit on the right side of the bike? I can't get near the back of the garage to get a look at all the bits to see myself.
Any thoughts advice appreciated.

If you want the seat lock to work without a key simply open the back and file the corner off the lever where it hits the lock barrel and plug the lock hole.
