Just had the carbs of the bike for a few days so I could give them a good clean inside and out and noticed that the oil pipe to the LH side carb had passed some oil whereas the RH side hadn't. Also noticed that when I took the carbs off there was some oil on the inside of the LH carb where it gets injected in at the bottom in front of the slide but the RH side was bone dry. Looks like the non return valve isn't holding on the LH side. Thinking maybe this is why the LH side always smokes more when cold and gradually disappears as it warms up. Anyone else had this ? Ordered new ball bearings and springs but noticed in the oil pump casing that oldelsieboy sent me a few weeks back that the ball bearing sits on a small rubber seal / cup that can be prised out. Anyone know if you can get these as it doesn't seem to show them on the parts list. Thanks. Tony

Both mine used to pass.
When I stripped my motor there were puddles in the crankcase.
Didn't notice the rubber bits when I stripped mine.
