found these in the garage they have rings fitted and 31k stamped inside they look new are they? theres a few marks on the skirt probably from fitting in the barrels but dont look theyve been fired up

looks like they have been used as you can pick out the upright marks along piston sides!!

they look worse in th photos i would say theyve been a barrel just they look as pistons out the box are

Am I right in thinking the 250 on the piston crowns means they are virtually on the last oversize / rebore for a 350cc, or have i got this totally wrong ??

Thay look quite used and been cleaned up to me, whats all the gunk and discolouration on the rings, you don't get that from just fitting in the bores.
I've never seen a set with a chamfer on the side either (i'm no expert BTW), are they genuine Yam or aftermarket?
Witterz, 25 is the first oversize piston, so a long way to go yet.

I have just had a couple of new pistons delivered and looking at them and the photo's of yours, the ones you have have definately seen some life mate

250 means 2.5 over size so yeah there the last piston u can use

That's too big to be a Yamaha piston isn't it? thought they only went up to 1.5?
Anyway they have been used a fair amount then cleaned up, I do know racers who swear by used pistons, something to do with them being looser and heat cycled properly
