Check the springs against the specs for how long they are.
I'm 15 stone and mine are fine, set at stiffest mind.

You need a couple of special tools to remove the top caps, easy to make

Mate you wont stiffen them ,they need respringing for your weight. All rgv forks are like it accept the sp ones which have click adj on top And bottom.

Jon ive riden my tzr 350 and it just dives Chris had same prob with his it just dives My other mates one just dives two were rebuilt and still dive I bought gsxr 400 forks with full adjustable clicker on top and bottom. My new ones dont dive as before they are great . Chris bit the bullet and bought rgv sp forks again with full clickers hes. Are great. You can make them tiny bit better with oil but unless you buy adjustable ones then springs and revalving is the best. Thing is price for revalve is what i paid for sp forks but i have all the adjustment to fiddle .

makes me wonder... what do those clickers actually do inside the forks... i wonder if i can buy the SP parts and retor fit them to the standard forks... the rest of the casting is the same isnt it?

Screw adjuster on top is preload adjuster, clicker on top is compression damping & clicker on bottom of forks is rebound damping or it may be the other way round

hi jon chris forks are a mix of the two so yes dont see why you cant fit parts in .
top clickers are part of the cartridge....
bottom clicker is drilled and fitted to bottom ....
but rare to find parts seperate
