It looks standard to me, just the same as the one on my 31K.

Looks like the same one as on the rear of my 83 LC2. Didn't the ones after the LC2 have Allen bolts to hold the pads in where the LC2 has pins held in place with an R clip. Tone.

Yes mate, that a 31K rear caliper, on the later models it was the same style as the front caliper.

Make sure you measure the diameter of the pistons when ordering new ones & seals. There are 2 different sizes fitted to the LC2
Of course I learnt this the hard way and got the bigger ones first and had to replace them with the smaller ones (many thanks as ever to Norbo). Don't know the exact sizes but the bigger ones are about 43mm dia. and the smaller ones are about 38mm dia.
Mine is a late '85 LC2 and has the small ones... which is odd as I would have thought that the later models would have had a bigger dia...?

They probably reduced the piston size on the later ones as it is quite easy to lock up the rear wheel as it has two opposed pistons where the fronts are single piston floating type. Thought it was me but on having read some old roadtests everyone comments on the rear brake being too powerful and that they should have stuck with the drum like the early LCs.
