vensac on here owns or owned one,lc bottom end with pv barrels grfted on. can only be what looey has already posted.
where does your clutch cable go into the motor,has the top engine case got a small lever just behind the engine number or does it go in the top of the lefthand engine side cover.

Send me photos of the frame number and engine number and I will tell you if they have been tampered with mate. Engine numbers are very hard to re-stamp email is dating.officer@aircooledrdclub.org.uk

the number looks fairly original the lines look spot on. so one of two think have been done. new old stock engine cases been stamped with a 4l1 number of someone has cut the piece off the lc cases and stuck it on the ypvs cases. the case looks a bit tall where the number is so i think its the last one

i would agree with onewheel,looks like it's had the number sliced off an lc casing and glued onto the pv cases m8

Hi Guys thanks for the very prompt replys, so what have I got ? still a problem, why would anyone go to these lenths for a ypvs lump, when so many on the market (EBAY) is full of them!!!!!!!, anyway it goes like shit so unless anyone wants a bitser rd I'll keep it for a while and use it before I change my underware!!!! cheers again

Didnt we have the same issues about a year ago? sure we did.Possibly the same bike.We decided a few came from factory with ypvs engine.We had spot on pictures and couldnt fault frame or engine numbers.Cant we in anyway trace the numbers to Yams data?
