Jonnyboy. Can i have first dibbs on the hoover brush in the green basket. I spat a mouthful of me cuppa all over me keyboard when I read that ;D Luvly lookin so far mate and I wouldn't worry 'bout being worthy of posting piccies on this forum if the bike isn't minty mint, My F2 is a daily rider & always covered in shit from the roads - never stopped me Keep it up bud - it WILL be worth it once you get that first powerband rush, you'll be grinning for hours - like you, I spent 20 odd years without a bike and regretted it everytime some git flew past me in the car - the first time I got her running and went for a blip, I was shaking for what seemed like hours with the adrenaline rush!!!

decided to put the chain on tonight, I kept it from the zxr I bought as a parts donor tsubaki oring in decent nick, dropped the swing arm put the chain on re-installed the swing arm and the back wheel then noticed the chain had a split link. Doh! here's a pic of the chain run. and a pic of the snug fit in the swing arm of the 140 rear tyre.

Had a good few hours on the bike yesterday got the rad on, bled the front brakes, put some fluids in and made myself a temporary fuel tank. Spent five mins kicking it over and managed to get it running. However it only ran on one cylinder mainly, I think this is because of fuel starvation relating to my temp fuel tank. Drilled a 4mm hole in a 6mm bolt and bolted it through a bottle top lid to make a spiggot to attach the fuel line to. It only really ran on the nearside cylinder untill I turned the tickover screw up on the offside. I only ran it for a couple of mins but it gave me a huge sense of relief, you never really know if its gonna go untill it does. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Here is a link to it running very rough
Also think I need to ditch the K&N's the only thing you can hear is it sucking like mad, wound the pilot screws in half a turn from standard seemed to tick over better (after the video) but am convinced it will be getting too much air.
