Hey guys, I know there is a way you can print nice looking hole patterns if you're gonna drill a brake disc. You then attach the paper on the disc and mark where to drill. Anyone know where to find this hole pattern stuff to print out? It should be for a 125 disc btw so it's smaller then 350 discs.

When drilling stainless, we used to say...slow speed fast feed.If using hand drill, pess hard and pulse the trigger...with oil

I got my hand out of my arse and drilled the bugger. I had to do the patterning by hand though as our printer didn't work. Turned out nice though. Click the pic if you want a bigger pic. Now I just gotta clean the disc up a tad. PS: Holes are 6,5 mm diam if anyone wonders.

So far so good. However you do realise that drilling will actually do very little perf wise. Regardless... Do Not chamfer the drilled holes or it will truly be a wasted effort :-)

Do Not chamfer the drilled holes or it will truly be a wasted effort :-) Thank's mate and yes I'll keep the holes unchamfered. I drilled it for the looks tbh, these discs look so goddamn boring originally. I've heard that drilled or slotted discs can keep the pads clean though so I guess I gain some "performance" (if you can call it that).

Nice work Billy and everyone to their own, but I agree with butch and would have left them standard. The standard undrilled ones are a rarer sight nowadays IMO.

Well, over here in Sweden they are not so rare, I'll keep one disc original though as it is more or less perfect original condition: img706.imageshack.us/img706/3774/pict0006sv.jpgEdit: More holes or not? I admit it looks better, but it's a little tight with more holes eh?

Hmmm, after much thought I decided not to drill the disc further, it'll be too little material between each hole I think. I'm pretty satisfied (well, satisfied enough) with the disc as it is anyway.
