I have seen 140s fitted but they rub on the chain guard a little 130's i think just miss it. 120 are a commun 1 up on standard fitment . i allways fit 110 now days and the bike handels better with this fitment but if i had to id go up 1 to 120 but any more and the profile is distorted and the bike handels crap .

Always use an Avon AM23 for race LC's. But you do need the 130/65 one to get on the rim. They are sods to fit. However the chain will rub the edge of the tyre at first.
But for road as Norbo says 110 is the best really. Have used 120's myself, but this was just so I could use the old ME1 sticky tyre they did.

How wide tire can you fit a YPVS rim before it gets rediculous? 130 tire?

I ran a 120 Avon Race on the rear of my LC, then I went to the 110 Avon Race. The difference in handling was astounding. The stock wheels were just not made for fat tires.
