whats it off billy more info please m8 I think it's a custom kicker mounted on a RD350 a/c. I found it on the 2-stroke world forum, I didn't check it out any further though as it came up when searching for other stuff.

interesting - but not that pretty, so it would have to have major weight saving qualities to be worthwhile, and with the two nuts and bolts i'm guessing it may be lacking in that department too - but thats just my opinion.

You could always make the kicker shorter and perhaps weld the kicker to the bracket instead of using bolts.

gday billy, i guess its functional, but there is something about it that i dont like, it may be to modern looking for me and it could be a bit slippery maybe, but if you like it thats all that counts,

I agree, the 500 is 'the one'. It just looks 'right'... decent repros of the 500 kicker that have been updated to fit the 350 boss would save a lot of head scratching and ebaying i reckon LOL

Well boys and girls, sorry for posting the pic then! I think you're focusing too much attention to the actual kickstart lever (which I btw agree on being too big and pretty ugly). I wasn't really talking about that part, but rather the way it is attached to the original steel bracket piece below. You could always make an alloy kicker in the same dimensions as a 500 kicker and bolt (or weld) it on as the pic. It won't be a 500 kicker but it'll work fine and look better then the stock steel kicker, and it's fairly easy to build.

gday billy, you are right about the way it is attached to the boss, it would be difficult to make it in one piece with out some fairly serious gear, when you consider the last alloy kicker i seen from legdions go for over 160 pounds and then somebody having hassles with one due to not enough meat for the bolt to go on and gets stripped i see your point, making it a 2 piece unit brings it into the realms of somebody who is handy with some good metal working tools, sorry about my attempt of humour, keep the photos coming, thinking outside the box is how all good things begin
