sick of my front brakes sticking when I push it backwards.Just one side.Piston is spot on, goes back easy.Stripped them loads of times. I re shimmed it last time and all was spot on.Never used the bike since, but binding again. They twist a tad when pushed backwars so one thinks another shim

I had this on my LC2. was ok pushing it forward but if you rolled it back and turned the bars the wheel would lock. Stripped out the calliper and found the pins that the calliper slides over on when you apply the brake were solid in the calliper. Cleaned up slider pins and cleaned out old grease from calliper holes replaced the two dust seals and relubed pins with fresh brake grease and all ok now.

Not sure what condition the seals are like but they dont leak.I have stripped them down completely and nothing is seized. All greased up.The 2 halves are worn hence re shim. Not sure how much play they should have.Originaly the r/hand side calliper twisted when i pushed it backwards.I re shimes with some ally sheet i had and it solved it.I was going to take it for MOT and it was sticking again. It was only a month os 2 since i did it.

My lads front brake was binding badly so i striped, cleaned and greased everything. This cured the problem for about 3 days, so we decided to change the seal although it didnt leak and the problem was solved. It sounds like the seal is the only thing you havent tried and I recon the answer to your problem might well be there

Quite possibly but you have tried everything else. Heres a thought. Maybe the piston is coming out at an angle and creating a leading edge when being pushed backwards thus binding. I dunno, just a thought
