Welcome aboard Mick.
Why buy one.
Build one.
It's where the fun is at.
Sure we could all go out and buy one finished.
Where's the craic in that.
Get chattin and get 25 posts up (i think) then stick a post up in the wanted section. Somebody will have something for you i'm sure.
Have fun!

have not seen the wanted section, where is that? or do you have to put 25 posts up, not really experienced enough to build one so a complete one would be best

From the home page. Scroll down to the classifieds. If you cannot see it. Maybe it don't be visible untill you hit the magic post number.

I found one this year in May. Absolute mint and not tuned to boot! Paid £3400 for it though and one month later the crank snapped! Anyway, £600 later (refurb crank, rebore, new rods etc) it's running sweet. These bikes are so easy to work on and the guys on this forum are so helpful that, if you can't find one, deffo have a go at building one. You'll probably have to re-build a mint one anyway at some stage like me!!!!!

I've just bought a restored totally standard 250LC in White and blue the same as I owned 23 years ago. The initial idea was to build one but this one was too good to miss so I guess I will now have to still build one and have to in the garage !!
