hi everyone, had to take my front wheel out for repair, was not a prob, as lifted front end on to two axle stands ..job done. how do you guys get the back end up as well?, i have paddock stands but these are for modern bikes. thanks in advance. olly.

cheers guys but am not using standard hangers, have nk ones. exhausts have to come off to lift frame on to axle stands. olly.

aint got one mells, i know i can buy one of those bike lifts for 60 quid, but was worth a try even if i have to mod my rear paddock stand for me r1. olly.

i got micron rear paddock stand with cups and im sure it just fits my valve with cups right in

cheers mells might have to borrow that off you, if works ill get one but am sure the 4lo is a bit more narrow than a pv one

yeah no rush m8, was just pleased i got front end up, just wondering what i could do with rear, as wheels gotta both come out when i send to areocoat, cheers m8 olly.

As a temp/bodge job, i once had this problem and ended up putting a stout pair of step ladders over the rear end, and with a little help and some strong rope lifting and then tying the rear end under the subframe (having removed the rear bodywork first). As i say not ideal - but it got the job done!
