Atm I have a 250 rear wheel fitted with the 41 tooth sprocket. Acceleration is too good and it makes the gears too short. The Micron enduced dead spot is at about 70 mph which means that when i am out with the 125 boys i am either leaving them for dead or running in the splutter zone !!! If I go down a tooth on the front wiill that give me about 15 mph in top ?? I know that the 350 had only 2 less teeth on the back and one on the front is worth 3 on the back but my Spannies and stage 1 tune etc should off set this ??

To get more top end you need to go up 1 tooth on the front . thats the same as gowing down 3 on the back . this will give you less accelaration and more topend.

meant up mate :-) old age, tired and dislexia took over. Do you recon 1 tooth at front in top will equate to 15mph ? I would assume like I said because I have a tuned engine etc and can hold gears longer the acceleration would not suffer too much :-)
