hi im not sure if im on the right post need to ask a few things but 1st hi again my name is brian and in my teens i had a few rd125s i did up and rode around then i moved up to bigger bikes but the bike i always wanted was yes thats right the rd250lc well i got one drove 200miles to kent and it had been in a edge for 26 year so got alot of work and many hours in the garage going to build a hybrid ill put a few pics on of the bike before and i will put more on has i start the build ive just ordered a set of allspeed for her and im making a metmachex swing arm for her now the questions i was going to put a rgv 250 front end on and back wheel in but as they are going for silly money was going to put zxr 400 front end on but not sore what 2 stroke back wheel is the same as the zxr400 front wheel and i want to keep my clocks and put white dials in them does any1 know where i can get them from cant wait to smell that 2 stroke again many thanks bri Attachments:

hi brian and welcome to the site m8,it's good to see the young'uns gettin into these strokers 8-)lookin like u got ur work cut out m8 but will be worth it in the end. i'm sure norbo sells the white faces in his lc shop on the main site homepage.ntlworld.com/ultimatelccrazy/ and as for the rear wheel a kwakka kr1 3 spoke wheel would match the zxr 400 but might be 18" which makes tyres expensive,if i was you i would try and go for 17" wheels m8.gs 500 wheels might be easier to get but onlt single disc on the front.have u tried a search for the later gsxr400 wheels as i think these are the same as the rgv,don't quote me tho

cheers for that scott going to order a set 2moz been in garage 2day welding some brackets on for bellypan dont like the way they fasten them on with the clamps so thats somthing else off the long list thanks again bri

welcome bri, we have something in common, i got mine out of an alottment !! in a similar state, but mines a 1986 F2, good luck with it all !, i look forward to the pictures ! feel free to check mine out, it has taken a year and a half so far and still no bits are really together, im really taking time on this baby !and enjoying it !!!!
350 f2 full nut and bolt rebuild on this section of the forum . incidentally, are you going to the classic jap bike show mid october at stafford county show ground, you get loads of parts there !!!!
