Hi fellow LCers
Can anyone recommend the best method for a plug chop? Should it be full throttle under load then cut the engine dead? Sounds a bit brutal to me and I've only just got 300 miles up since it's rebuild. Don't want to thrape it just yet but equally want to make sure carburration is spot on.
cheers

You can take it up to the revs you are happy with then kill it and wip the plugs out and see what colour they are . The idea of doing it full thraps is so when you are rinding it that way you know its running a good mixture .
It may be fine in mid but running week at full throttle flat out if you see what i meen .
But as you wont be flat out you will be fine just to do as above and only take it up to what ever your hapy with.
