Hi, like the title says. I need to have an LC seat shipped to the US. Can anyone recommend a shipper in the UK that won't cost too dearly or take months? Thanks in advance.

No probs mate a lot of E bay people wont post out the UK so they are handy to know if you get stuff as you can have the seat picked up from the sellers house .

I agree with Norbo, most of these guys are lifesavers, but beware... Parcel Monkey has a bit of a scam going imho. They quote the cheapest and are fine for the address and then when you come to pay they say its out in the sticks and an extra fee needs to be charged, about 10-15quid! Now, i live 20mins from the Harbour Bridge and no way am i in the sticks (wish i was!), but even putting in Sydney CDB (ie the center of the city, or metro area) they want to charge it, thats post code is only a few miles from the airport or hub the parcel comes in on. Anyway, just be careful is all.

I ALWAYS use Royal Mail / Parcelforce. Not the cheapest, but never fail.

Everything I have had shipped either from Norbo or direct from a seller has been fine with Parcelforce or the Royal Mail
I had a set of Wolf exhausts for my Speed Triple, that was a big heavy box and it was untouched

Thank you. A seller offered to ship via UPS from the UK. I have used UPS here in the States to ship to Canada and the buyers always seem to get slammed with heavy brokerage fees. If someone ships to the US from the UK via UPS, can I expect to get hit with the same brokerage fees? Thanks.

When I got my exhaust it did have brokerage fees added as it was a parcel
I think it was $60, or 10% of the value, have the seller mark the package with a lower declared value
Where in the United States are you?

Best way a parcel can be marked is "repaired" motorcycle part.
Makes it look like you sent it to be fixed and it's on it's way back, no charges for this usually.
