One time had chain snap on my RD350 an old country road at about 50 mph. Was a bit fishtailing the bike wanted to swing around locking up the rear wheel suddenly, came to a halt without incident though

Another time was leaned over all the way (didn’t know about Roberts knee hanging yet) exciting off ramp and just skid out into the grass, front wheel caught in a rut and pitched my over the handlebars I landed on the back of my neck and rolled forward, somehow unhurt (helmet and leather jacket + lucky geometry and physics I guess), forks were bent though, wasn’t even an hour and a couple Harley guys in a truck stopped and loaded me and my bike in the bed and took me home. Nowadays that would’ve been a federal case with ambulance and fire all the citations imaginable etc.

The RD350 finally caught fire and burned to the ground due to fuel leaking from around the petc**k shutoff valve onto the engine. A female rider age 15 was driving with me on the back, she was doing wheelies on her dirt bike so finally I let her drive my RD only to have it completely lost, wasn’t her fault though that has to go to the welder that left pinholes in the tank fix. Had cleaned it up repainted the frame and wheels, and then bought an RZ350, later following with my RZ500 the same year. Couldn’t give those bikes away back then, so exactly what happened to the RD350 I gave it away to a friend who had an RD125 and had sold it so he’d have a project at least. Lost touch moving over the years have no idea now.

Did the AI or some algorithm auto ** blank what it discerned as profanity while describing a part? Uncanny... I’ll reference only as fuel shutoff valve I guess from here on so not to worry

Lost count and see I’m at L plate well alright now I don’t have to tell the story about crashing my RZ350 and can just start looking at the classified section yay!

Hi new to here,recently brought an rd250lc project, i have spent hours searching for parts and numerous trips to the powder coaters there is one part im struggling to find and thats a shift shaft spacer part number 90560-12200 any help in finding one would be much appreciated thanks
