I think Norbo is bang on here, the rarest of all the bikes is the F1 from what i can tell. It only lasted one year as it was a sort of 'mini restyle' which looks like they started at the front of the bike and sadly the rear bodywork and some other bits werent done in time for launch, but they got it all done for the next years launch LOL. Joking asside, they are now getting harder to find as youd expect for a 1 year bike.

Yes, I have a matching numbers UK F1. I know they are rare . I am sure I have heard around the 600 - 700 figure for imported UK bikes before. Norbo - had a look on the page you mentioned and although I can see the chassis number ranges I can't see total numbers. I spoke to Yamaha UK in the past and they couldn't / wouldn't tell me. Cheers Andrew

If the UK got 6-700, I wonder how many we got down here, very few indeed i reckon... I will look at my 85 250 in a new light LOL!

1983 LC's were confined to the tertiary market of the UK. Rest of the world got RZ's in 83.. true. Likely the Local distributors relabelled their 82's as 83 's for local consumption.
