Here's a set I did, just cut the old can off & welded on a mounting disc. NK racing also do this conversion if you want someone to do it for you ;D

perfect guys, thats just what im doing at the moment, how much were the cans? and where from? my big concern was that the end diameter was such a much larger diameter than most exhaust /can connection pipes, put this has put my mind to rest, i hoped to just weld on a flange mounting plate...cheers! im have also cut the downpipes off to weld some fresh ones on

nice job, do you need anything like a gasket or seal between the can and the expansion chambers?

nice job, do you need anything like a gasket or seal between the can and the expansion chambers? Yeah I made a couple from gasket paper & sealed it with 3bond. No leaks ;D

Done a set before, alloy cans and flanges from nk racing. Cut old can off and you will find a smaller diameter pipe inside ( stinger ) get some 25mm id 28mm od tube off ebay, fit over the smaller tube and you can use a large hammer to shape in the larger outer pipe then fill with weld and use a flapwheel to shape. Easier to fit the flanges to the 28mm pipe first as it is tight over the stinger so you can align it all before welding. Steve
