Not a solo seat as such but a cover for the standard seat, tried it on the bike with and without the grab rail, even with my carbon Fiber tail piece, but still not a pleasing look, just not quite right if you know what I mean.

I purchased one of the 350 LC solo seat cowls on Ebay (same as above in Robins post). Im not happy with it. It doesn't look all that good, doesn't really flow with the tailpiece, where the fibreglass is cut to fit around the seat is not cut evenly or professionally at all and it shows when mounted, the edge of the fiberglass that contacts the seat will wear and cut into the seat cover. If your seat does not sit flat against the tailpiece (as most of the stock seats don't), the seat lifts the cowl away from the tailpiece and really makes it look like shite. I had to drill holes in the seat pan for zip ties to hold the rear of the seat down and make the cowl and tailpiece sit flush together. A royal pain in the ass when you need to remove the seat! The worst part is that to fit this you have to cut into your seat cover to bolt it into place. This is not made clear in the description, I should have investigated more thoroughly, as I ruined a perfect stock seat. I have had this cowl for 2 years now and the gelcoat is lifting off the fibreglass, creating very unsightly bubbles. Complete waste of money.
I have been trying to find a Pichler or Guiliari seat but I always seem to miss the auctions when they come up on Ebay.

a lttle trick i used to use was if u get a bolt ,ccut the head of it and grind a point on it wer the head used to be. screw the modified bolts into the mounting points.then trial fit the seat unit but wen fitting it 'pull' the the seat unit apart slightly until in place. then when in position push it against the pointy bits and it will leave a mark on the inside of the seat unit wer u want the holes. id try it a few times before drilling to get in the ball park.........
