will your normal sillicon sealant give a good seal on a petrol tap. hope so ,so I can go for a ride on my bike all Ive done this summer is problem solve.sick of driving my car want to ride my bike. thanks guys.

silicone is no good once in contact with petrol. blue hylomar is what you need

Do you mean the seal between the fuel tap and tank ? It normaly has an 0 ring seal and 2 fibre seals for the 2 bolts

if would be a nicer repair if you just buy some new fiber washers and a 0 ring rather than use sealer imo.
