Expensive - but exciting. looks like you're doing a proper job there mate.
Why do women not understand how vital these expensive bits of metal are to us?

Very nice, about to start building a motor myself. Toying with a stroked crank on 1UA ported barrels.
Head looks the biz, what are the advantages and is it o ringed?

Should have a bit more bling coming today hopefull yeah mate the head is o-ringed it doesnt have a thermostat so the head runs cool and the cups come in diff sizes depending on the barrel size. I'v gone with the standard size I was going to go bigger but I got fed up of waiting to have my engine tuned, tryed a couple of guys but they kept saying phone me back in a months time 3 months later and still nothing

"wonder where ive seen that new finish before.....ahhh yes on my lc ....lol"
I saw the finish on your footpeg hangers when i met you at Norbo's the other week, and thought the finish looked pretty cool, but on the engine it looks spot on.

Hi Rob
A bit of a personal question for you if you don't mind. Roughly what did this build cost you?
Also have you had it on the dyno, and if so what sort of power was it putting out?
I'm wanting to do a trick engine build myself, but the athena/TSS/ etc route sounds like a bottomless pit of spending once you start, so this seems like an ideal starting point. Any info, advice (suppliers etc) and thoughts would be appreciated
