Got a new shock to change over on my 4lo, however I was hoping there may be an easy way to change the shock without having to take the bellypan off and the exhausts. Has anyone any ideas

no need to take belly pan or pipes off,
support the bike under the rear hangers take rear wheel off fuel tank off + seat remove shock bolt under tank this will let swinger down to get access to bottom of shock

takes two people, remove tank, and remove both bolts holding shock. gently pull bike over to one side when on centre stand and there is just enough room to remove the shock, just need to be carefull.

Bike on centrestand, on wooden blocks, 3" extra height. Disconnect brake rod. tank off. Undo top shock pivot, while supporting wheel, then lower it down, chain will slacken itself. Undo lower bolt and shock will come out through the top. Did this Sunday. Twice....... metmachex now fitted ;D ;D
