Can anyone tell me how to check this correctly I read on here somewhere you can jam a piece of pipe into drain screw hole then see where the fuel goes to in it Do i need to leave fuel switched on for this or will that just keep filling the pipe Also does the pipe need to be a certain length Does it need to be routed a certain way Advice greatly appreciated Cheers

hi mellow undo the single screw on the bottom of the float bowl, somehow jam a piece of clear tube in the threaded hole, pass the tube up the side of the carb fill the carb with petrol the fuel should travel up the pipe to within +/- 1mm of the float bowl gasket face, the tube needs to go up past the float bowl, you can leave the petrol tap turned on as the float chamber valve should cut the fuel when the float chamber is full, if it doesn't you either need to adjust the float height or buy a new valve. hope this helps
