My 350 is really hesitant around 4500 rpm up to 6,000 where it gets less hesitant. Cant tell what its like above that cos still running it in after a full rebuild. I've tried a different coil and a different CDI and different plugs but its still the same. The loom is brand new as are the ignition switch, and all other electrical bits. Could it be fueling and if so anyone any ideas how to cure it. Its a standard set up on standard jettiong with bog standard pipes.

have you checked the pilot jet isn't blocked, you could try moving the jet needle up or down a notch

Must admit i did not put new needles into the carbs just used the kits from Norbo with new jets. I will give it a go

Try dropping the needles one clip (move the clip one notch nearer the top/end).

Before making any changes make sure you have the correct needles (5K1) fitted & the clip is in the middle groove/slot.
