Has any one ever fitted 3 spokes in a standard set up not wider wheels or anything but something that will fit in to standard forks and a standard swinger .

Hi Norbo, I'm guessing you mean Tzr style 3 spokes into a Ypvs. My old 400E special had an Rzr250 ypvs front end fitted. It was a Jap market bike; Rear wheel was exactly the same as a 250 2ma/1kt Tzr, although mine had been modded to fit a Hejira cantilever swing arm by a previous owner. It may well fit into a valve arm, here is a pic of one close up; The forks are 35mm, same as a valve, and lowers used 83mm caliper spacings so you could fit 4 pots as I did. Again, I bought the rolling chassis with these forks fitted, but there are a lot of similarities. I still have an Rzr top yoke in the shed, I will offer it up to my Lc2 later and see what the offset looks like; The top yoke on my old bike had the ignition loop machined off, plus the clipons were Rzr. I think the designation was 3HM. Regards Dusty

Hi, I laid the Rzr top yoke over the top of an Lc top yoke and the offset is different. You would need Rzr yokes with the forks and wheels. Quite rare on e-bay though Dusty

Sounds good Norbo, The 3 spokes suit the 400 and are so much lighter than standard; Dusty

Out here we have TZM 150, which is a bit like the TZR125 2 spoke, but with a stoking big single disc. Another one, a similar size is the FZR150 ( a funny V twin thing) which has twin front discs.
