I have seen a few Rd500 kickstarts on 350 ypvs's and i was wondering how you attach them on because everyone seems to have a bolt and washer though the kickstart mechism to hold it on is this the only way thanks perry

you can either drill and tap your kickstart unit then use a big washer and bolt. or mod you original kicker knuckle cheers gaz

Yes as above some people just stick it on a standard kick start bottom . I allways drill and use the bolt as they look better with the bifg alloy 500 botom part i think .

I have drilled and tapped the unit and fitted the kickstart but i cannot stop it hitting the engine casing. Even when i move it back it rocks forwards and still hits it any ideas?.

Yes that would work because it would stop it from rotating around the centre. I will give that ago thanks
