To lower the gearing i.e to give better acceleration you need to go down on the front or bigger on the back so by putting on a 15 front you will lower the gearing. Tone

Be aware when dropping teeth off the front that you make the chain run smaller, i.e the chain has to take a smaller route and can cause extra stress on the chain.....
not to mention your chain adjusters will have to go further back and your swingarm clearance may be compromised.
1 tooth will probably be OK but if I was doing it I'd go up on the back.

i could be wrong but once i was told to be carefull of bikes that had a smaller front cog,was an old(cheap) trick for drag bikes to try and drop the time a bit, put some different forces on the motor,i could be wrong from memory but if anybody has anything to add about that im keen to hear it,never to old to learn.

It puts less force on the engine as its easier to move it

i haven't had any problems with mine, you've just got to be a bit careful when you whip the throttle back, in 6th gear at 10 thousand revs my bike is doing exactly 100mph, it also drinks petrol like theres a major leek in the tank i'm gonna have another 2 weeks of fun on the 15 then the 16's going back on to see how i get on with that

hi paul i thought the 250 stud spacing on the rear sprocket was different to the 350, have you got hold a 15 tooth yet, and have ya got your bike together yet dave
