I took her for a bit of a ride last week just in my vilage to a school fair my son was at . got a few looks from the fire men at the fair . Intoresting bike to ride . You dont reolise how good the LC's are to ride untill you get on something a lot older . But i gues they were not built to thrash just to ride and it is a nice ride .

Makes in look a completely different bike. They always looked a bit drab in the UK colours IMO.

Looks top. I hear they have a very defined power band as they don't have reed vales. I've never ridden one.

cheers first time in 18 years ive been able to enter a bike at the rally Well done fella you now have a 100% wining record and 52 weeks to sort next years entrant I'm not the bigest fan of the early rounded tank A/C RD's but I must admit I have allways admired that particular bike

I've a real soft spot for these, my first RD, JUC379N 250 A ;D
That's an RD so it has reed valves, the pevious YDS7 didn't have though.
That looks like a really early one, black carbs and all. I did think they didn't come out until 1973 though, maybe the Yanks got them first? The tank is different from the UK models though, smaller.
Bloody nice that, I'd really like another one
